The first question that you may have is
what is the difference between the discontinued KX-TDA, the KX-TDE and the KX-NCP systems.
A KX-TDA can be upgraded to a KX-TDE merely by changing
out the main MPR card (CPU processing card).
Both the
KX-TDE and the KX-NCP offers pure IP
connectivity via a network connection that resides on a new
main processor card (IPCMPR). This allows either system to be
configured in one of three ways;
as
a
pure IP system, as
a traditional system PBX systems, or both—allowing the
customer to migrate to IP at their own pace.
When
the KX-TDE or KX-NCP are configured as a pure IP system, the
systems use
network connection on the main processor card allowing
remote locations to utilize either IP extensions or IP
gateways for connectivity. The TDE and NCP systems can
support virtual extension ports that will accommodate
Panasonic KX-NT series telephones or industry
standard SIP telephones; as well as supporting up to 32
SIP based trunks.
The
KX-TDE and KX-NCP supports DECT 6.0 multi-cellular wireless and IP
telephones.

six networked enabled wired telephones and DSS consoles and
three wireless cellular models—the
KX-TD7685, KX-TD7695 and
the ruggedized KX-TD7696 that operate which

or take some minor features.
